Things take a turn when Rach learns she’s actually meant to assist the politician’s son, Pres, who has ambitions of running for mayor and a reputation for being tough to work for. What follows is a delightful, roller-coaster journey as Rach’s sunny personality collides with Pres’s uptight analytical demeanor, and sparks start to fly.
This book was such a fun ride! Rach is an absolute delight—charismatic, upbeat, and always able to turn a disaster into a positive moment. She’s definitely the kind of character you’d want as a friend, and she brings so much energy to the story. Pres comes off as uptight at first, but as you get to know him, you see that his workaholic nature is driven by a genuine desire to make the world a better place. Their dynamic is engaging, and I loved how the storyline was packed with comedic mishaps and heartfelt moments.
Dahlia Summers did a fantastic job bringing Rach to life. Her performance was vibrant and matched the lighthearted, fun tone of the book. Just like Rach, she made me feel like she’s someone I’d love to hang out with. Her narration added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.
